White Knuckled

Winter is back, about 6" and more on the way. White out at Brighton. It was a bit sketchy getting up here and the wind put Great Western on wind hold. Took some nice powder runs then drove down the canyons before I got snowed in up here.

Spinning Wall

Snow conditions were pour. I found a gully with a man made wall and started skiing off it. Kind of a cool spot. Left and went in search of a jump to see if I could land a few 360s. I started out two for two on my spins. Did a couple 180s and finished off with two more 360s off other jumps. Not a bad day for spinning. I think I saw Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls today at the base of Deer Valley.

3 inches, where?

Mother Nature is not corroperating, where is the snow? Skied Motherload trees & Mconkey trees, both were crap. Our best chance of anything good is going to be at Jupiter. It was a little better. Every once in awhile I felt some good pow.

Mush

The weather has gone spring. Slushy snow. Skied empire and lady Morgan areas. Leg burner trying to cut through the slush.

No Parking

It was hopeless to find a place to park. Alta and snowbirds parking lots were full. After making two loops I gave up and went down to white pine parking lot and did a bit of hiking with Max. We didn't go far just enough to play in the snow and take a few runs. The powder was sweet. I'm sure it was an amazing day at the resorts.

Drained

Feeling weak because I was just getting over being sick. The snow was crap, but I wanted to ski. Took one drop into a crash. Found some decent powder in the Mayflower trees.
