Gooey Powder

Alta opened back up after being closed for four days. Alta received over 20 inches of snow in that time. Too bad the warm temperature turned it into gooey powder. It was still fun to ski. Dropped off a few rollers and off a 10 foot jump into Grizzly gulch. Could have done that all day.

Higher

The higher the elevation the better the snow. Skiing Jupiter bowl trees through some wet powder. Challenging terrain and heavy snow made it slow going down. Ended my day making a few laps through one one the terrain parks.

Missed It

Just missed a great pow by one day. The temps are to warm. The 14 inches of fresh snow was now like cement. Skied both sides of the mountain dipping into cement pow.Deer Valley (2.5 hrs)
