Hiking Season

Still lots of snow in the mountains, mostly slush. Strapped my skis on and followed a trail that took me up gradually. It was a killer traverse. Two hours later I was at my wall.There was kind of a natural half pipe going down. Sticky slush skiing down, a bit of a challenge to ride a constant line down. The hiking kicked my butt.

Winter Blast

Took the day off to ski with an old friend. Got up to Solitude and the slopes were covered with a foot of snow and the snow was still coming. Fresh tracks what an amazing day. Dropped a few cliffs, skied some nice lines in the trees bombing it down the powder filled slopes. What a blast of a day catching up with by bud from high school.

Blue Bird Powder

Day after a big storm I went up to Deer Valley to ski what was left over. I met up with my brother and to ski some trees, drop some cliffs and get it on film. Finally dropped the Lady Morgan Cliff. 20 foot cliff and and a 15 footer in the Sultan trees. Great powder in the trees.
