Gliding

Five inches of fresh snow made for some great skiing conditions. When I first looked at the roads on the net I didn't think I was going to make it. By lunch time the roads were good. Soft and effortless sliding down the mountain. Skied some nice powder over on Empire. Dropped down a 10 foot cornic a couple of times. Ended the day on the Saultan terrain and skied down through some new cliffs I haven't skied before. A little more powder and they could be fun.

Playing in Powder

All Max wanted was the powder. I can't blame him but he needs to learn to ski on the flats on his own. We will get there. Played in the snow for awhile. Hiked up a little to get some shots of powder.

Black Hole

Started out the day slow. I got sucked into the new area around Iron Mountain. I found one powder run but the rest of the area wasn't that great. Went over to 9990 and hiked up the peaks. Best run of the day dropping off one of the corneas and skiing the open powder down through the trees and the cliff ridge. If it wasn't for the hike I would do it more but I guess that is why there is still good powder here. Skied a few more runs before leaving.

Just Enough

Hit and miss on the powder. Over on May flower there was some nice untouched areas. Dropped off a small cliff then skied the trees.

Old N' Cold

Haven't gotten any new snow for awhile and the temp is still in the low teens. Tryed out the new orange bubble. Canyons has had a makeover with new colors and a new logo. Skiing was a leg burner because the snow was so hard.

Cold Eval

Cold. Stayed on blue and greens all day. For an Eval it was desent day. Skiing fast and working on technical aspects of skiing. Not my preference in skiing but it's something I have to do.

Another fine day on the Mountain

Great skiing conditions. Blue sky and powder in the trees. Hit and miss in some area. Skied both edges of the resort, ending on the May Flower side.
