Powder Blast to Flats

In the past 72 hours 62 inches of snow has fallen. So before I had to start working I got two sweet runs in. Deep powder, sinking down about two feet. Would have been nice to get some more in but I had to go teach one student in teen escape. Easy day.

Soaking in Powder

Wet powder. Found some great lines, with some spots softer then others. Skiing with Rodney down through the trees floating off a few cliffs. Had some cold wipeouts and by the end of the day my clothes were soaking wet. Great skiing, dead tired at the end of the day.

Joy Ride

Went up to Deer Valley for opening day. Almost everything was opened. Rodney and I skied mostly on Lady Morgan lift through the trees of Centenial. Everything was soft because it was opening day. Hit a couple jumps and dropped a small 15 foot cliff. It was a blast, our average run including the lift ride was about 10 minutes. The snow was a little sticky in some spots. Great leg workout.

Coverage

Another foot of snow to cover the rocks. Making laps through the trees, not much time so I made the most of the time I had skiing some soft spots.
