Bad Jump

I was at this same spot two weeks ago and there has been a lot of melting going on. Skied off a couple of jumps with hard landings. The second one I hit threw me forward and on the ground on my chest. Bad jump.

Feeling sluggish not wanting to do anything but have myself programed to ski on days that I haven't skied. Hiking up the face of Alta I had plenty of options with plenty snow everywhere. The snow his turning into glaiture snow with a little slush on top. Fast ride down.

Checking Chads Gap

Hiking up towards Chads Gap Area to see what I can find. There are two mining piling piles and I ended up at the higher one hitting a jump then hitting a quarter pipe, spinning into a 180 in the air. then I went down to Chads gap, but there wasn't much I could do because the snow was so slow. Skied down a little further down the gully and hit one last jump that I was able to get some air. Skied down through the gully to Alta's Albion Basin parking lot.

Natural Pipe

Plenty of slush hiking up Little Cottonwood Canyon. The opposite side of Alta caught my eye so I hiked up till I found a gully that looked like a natural pipe.  I skied off the edge then off a jump on the side of the pipe wall. Cool spot and some great air time. Rode the pipe down that drained back down to the parking lot.
