Last Chance
After 95 weeks of skiing in a row, my record was almost snapped. Last day of the week after night fall I made my way over the the rock pile just off of I-15. The workers had all gone home so it was free to ski. The rock pile is just big enough to make about three or four turns before getting to the bottom. A few times sparks lit up my turns.

Skiing Wet Grass
Early morning with the dew making the grass wet enough to ski. This was a first and I wasn't sure if it was going to work to ski on grass. It turned out to be a great spot to do some off season skiing in Flat Iron Mesa Park. I was suprised at the speed I was able to get. My turns were more of a jump turn because my edges were useless and couldn't grab the ground. Fun place to ski.

Private Resort
The only thing Private about this place was the property. Luckily it was a holiday so the place was a ghost town. I had some issues and almost left the area empty handed. Danger high bank is what one of the signs said. Translation, perfect for rock skiing. At the top of the slop there was a two foot drop onto the slope. Steep and fast going down with just the right size of pebble rocks to ski down on. At the end I had to dig in to make my dusty stop. Great spot.
